Three wild Banker horses graze on marshy grasses on a misty morning. These horses lives on Carrot Island, the Rachel Carson Reserve, uninhabited barrier islands in the Outer Banks North Carolina.

Stephanie Moon is a photographer with a specialty in horses and pets. She enjoys both privately commissioned portrait sessions and going out into the community to create personal work. Besides here usual work of horses and pets, Stephanie also enjoys floral and landscape photography. The artist resides in the small town of Bellaire Ohio with her husband and their dog Mario.
